The frozen ground rises to meet the snow-scarred sky at a point indiscernible, the monotone broken only by pitch masses of secretive trees.

The Road cuts a scalpel scar across the howling wilds, pointing thin, straight, and true to the frozen north, hard earth cemented by thousands of plodding feet over slow centuries. Nothing grows on the desolate path, its edges as clear and stark against the wilderness as black ink on hymnal page.

This is the path you chose, Traveler.
